This is my favourite social media post by a football club in 2017.

It shows three Bali United players celebrating their team’s second goal against Borneo in May according to their own faiths.

From left to right, we see Ngurah Nanak (defender and Hindu), scorer Yabes Roni (forward and Christian) and Miftahul Hamdi (forward and Muslim) saying their thanks, their way.

The caption is translated as “Because different beliefs will not prevent us from achieving the same goals”.

Nanak said: "We did not plan it, but fortunately it turned into a positive message.”

The shots was taken by Bali United club photographer Halim who added he was “glad that photo serves as an example for people.

“Soccer can unite the country.”

It is tolerance, diversity and unity in one picture.

Here's my videos from my trip to Bali United. One of the atmospheres I have experienced.

Honourable mention

Baldock Town defender Liam Kenna had been injured all season and taken on the role of play-by-play tweeting.

After couple of training sessions, he was named on the bench, however he had no expectation of playing.

Then, with 10 minutes left, Baldock’s centre-back got injured.

Kenna told the BBC: "When I went to see the linesman to get my studs checked, I still had my phone in my hand. He said 'you can't go on with that mate'."
